As a host I feel several things are wrong. 1.Airbnbs have got way to expensive. 2. Host demand some crazy things from their guest. Don’t make guest clean when they paid a 200 dollar cleaning fee. No one wants to clean while on vacation customer service is key !

😮 unfortunately the hero photo that you choose is not the photo that Airbnb shows to potential guests. Make sure you go incognito to look for your property. I chose the beautiful sunrise over the lake that is the view from the bedroom. Airbnb chose to show a picture of my couch. When I search for my property I went right past it because they were not showing my hero photo. When I contacted Airbnb to let them know about the problem they basically told me they have the prerogative to show whatever picture they want to the potential guests. They were not required to show the hero photo I chose the algorithm decides what picture to show potential guests. Needless to say my reservations went in the crapper when they were showing a picture of my couch instead of a picture of the beautiful sunrise over the water.

Be sure to check your listing details, amenities, pictures, everything because every time they do an update especially this last time my categories were changed by Airbnb IE they remove me from lakefront and Beach categories. The rearranged my pictures and quit showing My chosen thumbnail picture. They removed amenities from my amenities list etc. Go incognito and check your listing to make sure you can find it, the amenities you chose are selected, you're in the right categories etc. Double check to make sure everything you want in your listing is there because airbnb's updates screw that up every time!😮
